Dear Friends and Family,
It was 1971 when our DC7 airplane was craned into place and we made the front page of the Denver Post. We did it again May 24, 2007!

In October of 2006, Paul Filmer, an airplane historian and photographer, located Captain Frank Lane and Flight Engineer Bob Jackson and during a long conversation with both, discovered that Frank and Bob had flown our plane in the mid sixties for Dooley Sales Corp. Several interesting facts were learned: our aircraft proudly carried Ronald Reagan during his bid for California governor; she transported the Los Angeles Lakers’ during their summer exhibition season and she carried The Oakland Raiders to Super Bowl II! She even transported Native American fire fighters to help fight fires in several National Forests. Extraordinary? We think so!
Because of this conversation, a new story of our airplane has been written. The following is a link to Paul Filmer’s website with his presentation concerning the newly discovered information. Run your cursor over the pictures for 4 very interesting slide shows. The first slide show includes photos of our DC7 taken in its prime by Flight Engineer Bob Jackson. Our aircraft, 21 Charlie, was certainly a stunning airplane during her days in the skies. While you are there, we hope you will enjoy Paul’s entire collection of old aircraft.
