Our
unique weekly summer theme camps for post kindergarteners and school-age
children emphasize fun, recreation, adventure, creativity and learning.
Our summer camp counselors focus on experiences that encourage children
to form positive peer relationships by planning activities like swimming,
sports, and popular field trips which enrich the weekly themes.

We
are proud of the warmth, diversity and experience of our camp counselors,
all of whom have worked for us throughout the years. We have a low ratio
of 1counselor for every 10 campers. The counselors have backgrounds in
education or in a related field. They are trained and experienced in understanding
and meeting children's developmental needs and have had training in CPR/1st
Aid.

Our curriculum
recognizes that children who have completed Kindergarten through the
ages of 14 thrive on challenges, friendships, and responsibility.
We provide children with opportunities to dip in the pool, test their
courage on our climbing wall, develop their creative skills in arts
and crafts, hike in wilderness parks, play group games, cook on a
grill, and much more… activities which are planned to enrich
the unique weekly themes. Every child is also encouraged to participate
in the planning of activities so that the programming will vary to
match individual and group interests. |
The camp day is a mix of teacher
and self directed activities. It includes choice times as well as a group
times. This gives the younger children a much needed opportunity to connect
with a single teacher and the older children a chance to work on more advanced
long term projects.

We love
taking field trips 2-3 times a week in our privately owned busses
equipped with cell phones and driven by staff with current Commercial
Driver’s Licenses. Observatory Park and Eisenhower swimming
pool are just a short bus ride away. Some of our other favorite
trips include ice-sledding, sunning at the reservoir, getting autographs
at the Bronco training camp, sneaking peeks behind the scenes at
Invesco, gorging ourselves at Gunther Toody’s, and planning
a big day at Pirate’s Cove. |

Campers
look forward to planning events and field trips centered around
weekly themes. “Bronco” riding, a trip to a rodeo,
and learning to line dance are just a few of the awesome activities
enjoyed during Wild, Wild, West Week. Not all science projects
go according to plan………..everyone loves inviting
Lord Boron to camp to help celebrate Weird Science Week.
